YOUR WORDS
Words are powerful! Some just don't know how
much! They can be positive or negative forces. They can
hurt, they can lift up, they can shame, they can condemn...
(NLT) James 3:2-11
We all make mistakes, but those who control their
tongues can also control themselves in every other way.
(3)We can make a large
horse turn around and go wherever we want by means of a
small bit in its mouth.
(4)And
a tiny rudder makes a huge ship turn wherever the pilot
wants it to go, even though the winds are strong.
(5)So also, the tongue
is a small thing, but what enormous damage it can do. A tiny
spark can set a great forest on fire.
(6)And the tongue is a
flame of fire. It is full of wickedness that can ruin your
whole life. It can turn the entire course of your life into
a blazing flame of destruction, for it is set on fire by
hell itself. (7)People
can tame all kinds of animals and birds and reptiles and
fish, (8)but no one
can tame the tongue. Iti s an uncontrollable evil, full of
deadly poison.
(9)Sometimes it praises our Lord and
Father, and sometimes it breaks out into curses against
those who have been made in the image of God.
(10)And so blessing
and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely,
my brothers and sisters, this is not right!
(11)Does a spring of
water bubble out with both fresh water and bitter water?
Amplified-Prov. 18:21
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and who
indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it[for death or life].
Matthew 12:37
For by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and
by your words you will be condemned and sentenced.

Faith speaking
KJV Rom 10:9-10
If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and
believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the
dead, thou shalt be saved.
(10)For with the heart man believeth unto
righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto
salvation.
Born again believers(Rom 10:9-10)
have authority to speak words that align with God's words
that will change their lives and the lives of others.
Mark 11:23
For Assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this
mountain, "Be removed and be cast into the sea," and does
not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he
says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
Matt 12:34
Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
(When our heart is full of the word of God, we speak faith)
Mark 16:17-18
And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my
name they shall cast out devils; they shall speak with new
tongues; (18)they
shall take up serpents; if they drink any deadly thing, it
shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and
they shall recover.
So by your words you will be justified, by
your words you can be condemned, by your words you can be
free, by your words you can be bound.
